Vendor Market Rules & Policies

Mimi's Event Space

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Mitchell Persimmon Festival Vendor Market at Mimi's Event Space. These rules are intended to provide a safe, professional, and enjoyable experience for vendors and festival guests. By participating in the Vendor Market, vendors agree to comply with the following policies.

Monday – Friday
5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Saturday
10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Booth Information

• Booth Fee: $300
• Booth Size: 10' x 10'
• One table is provided.
• Vendors are responsible for supplying chairs, table coverings, shelving, displays, and any additional booth furnishings.
• All displays must remain within the assigned booth space.

Vendor Selection

Vendor spaces are limited.

Applications will be accepted through August 14, 2026.

Selected vendors will be notified by August 18, 2026.

The Festival Committee reserves the right to accept or deny any application based upon product selection, quality, uniqueness, and overall event balance.

Payment & Required Documents

Accepted vendors must submit the following no later than September 4, 2026:

• Signed Vendor Agreement
• Booth Fee
• Certificate of Insurance naming the Greater Mitchell Chamber of Commerce / Mitchell Persimmon Festival as an Additional Insured

Failure to submit all required documents by the deadline may result in forfeiture of the vendor space.

Merchandise

Approved vendors may sell only the merchandise described on their application.

No food or beverage sales are permitted.

The Festival Committee reserves the right to require removal of merchandise not approved during the application process.

Booth Operation

• Booths must remain staffed and open during all advertised Vendor Market hours.
• Early teardown is not permitted without approval from Festival Management.
• Vendors are responsible for maintaining a neat, clean, and professional booth.
• Aisles, entrances, exits, and neighboring booths must remain unobstructed.

Mimi's Event Space Policies

By participating in the Vendor Market, vendors agree to comply with all policies established by Mimi's Events & Rentals.

• Vendors assume responsibility for any damage caused to the building, furniture, fixtures, tables, chairs, or equipment resulting from their booth, employees, or guests.
• Security cameras are in operation throughout the facility.
• Vendor restrooms are reserved for registered vendors and their employees only.
• No smoking, vaping, open flames, candles, cooking equipment, or hazardous materials are permitted inside the building.
• Vendors must remove all merchandise, displays, and trash at the conclusion of the event and leave their booth space clean. This aligns with Mimi's cleanup requirements.

Security

Mimi's Event Space will be locked each evening.

While reasonable security measures are provided, vendors are responsible for all merchandise, equipment, displays, cash, and personal property.

The Greater Mitchell Chamber of Commerce, Mitchell Persimmon Festival, and Mimi's Events & Rentals shall not be liable for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

Insurance

All vendors must provide a Certificate of Insurance naming the Greater Mitchell Chamber of Commerce / Mitchell Persimmon Festival as an Additional Insured.

Proof of insurance must be received before booth space is confirmed.

Rain or Shine

The Mitchell Persimmon Festival Vendor Market is a rain-or-shine event.

No refunds will be issued due to weather, acts of nature, or vendor cancellation.

Trademark Notice

"Mitchell Persimmon Festival" and "Persimmon Festival" are registered trademarks of the Greater Mitchell Chamber of Commerce.

Vendors may not use these names, logos, or confusingly similar wording on merchandise, apparel, advertising, packaging, websites, social media, or promotional materials without prior written authorization from the Greater Mitchell Chamber of Commerce.

Unauthorized use of these trademarks may result in removal from the event, forfeiture of vendor fees, and denial of future participation.

Right to Refuse Participation

The Greater Mitchell Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to refuse, revoke, or terminate any vendor's participation for failure to comply with these rules or for conduct determined to be detrimental to the Mitchell Persimmon Festival or its guests.
