Kross, a band that played 20 or so years ago in the Bedford area, is back and ready to rock. The band features Steve Byers, Jerry Spradlin, Tom Barrett and Jay Wilson and reunites a few times a year for special performances, including the annual gathering at the Persimmon Festival.
“We only get together and play a few times a year, when Tom comes back from Minnesota,” Byers explained, which makes the band’s appearances memorable.
Expect to hear a wide array of cover songs from bands including KISS, Bon Jovi, AC/DC, John Mellencamp, Rick Springfield, ZZ Top and Poison.
The high-energy show has garnered quite a following of those who enjoy the music and look forward to the reunions. The free performance, slated to take place on the Main Street stage on Saturday evening, will close out the Persimmon Festival with a show that will have you dancing in the streets.
