Main Street Stage. Attend the posting of the colors and the patriotic ceremony which opens the annual parade. We also introduce the grand marshal, mayor and other dignitaries. JoAnna Kai Cobb will sing the National Anthem.
2:00pm Grand Parade.
Rain or Shine. One of Indiana’s largest parades forms at Lehigh Field, the parade moves west on Main Street to Seventh Street, north on Warren, west to Eighth and ends at MHS. Grand Marshal Jeff Routh invites you to come out and watch the many special attractions in this year’s parade, including the annual favorite, the South shore Drill Team, and many other exciting acts to celebrate the festival’s 66th anniversary.
4:15 pm Persimmon Festival Awards.

Main Street Stage. KROSS was a popular Bedford cover band in the 1980s and includes members Steve Byers, Tom Barrett, Jay Wilson and Jerry Spradlin. For more information, visit KROSS on Facebook. The band made its Persimmon Festival debut in 2010 and has rocked the Main Street stage every year since that time with its take on some of the music industry’s biggest hits. The band’s energy-filled, fun show will no doubt make you want to get up and dance.
